Wolleson ******************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA January 23, 1991 Submitted March 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mary Kathryn Allgood McDavid Funeral services for Mary Kathryn Allgood McDavid, 62, of Liddieville, were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1991 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with Rev. Bobby White officiating. Burial followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. McDavid died Sunday, Jan. 20, at E.A. Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe following a brief illness. She was a member of the Winnsboro Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Acton, Winnsboro, Barbara McDavid, Winnsboro; Beverly Patterson, Augusta, Ga.; two sons, George D. McDavid III, Martinez, Ga.; Jeffrey McDavid, Hephzibah, Ga.; two sisters, Edith Smith, Brookhaven, Ms.; Marie Smith, Brookhaven, Ms.; two brothers, John Allgood, Brookhaven, Ms.; James Allgood, Vaughn, Ms. and eight grandchildren. Sewell Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 25, 1991, at Calvary Baptist Church in Gilbert for Claudie L. Sewell, 80, of Gilbert. The Rev. J. T. Halley and the Rev. Doug Foreman officiated. Burial followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Sewell died Jan. 23 at HCA North Monroe Hospital in Monroe following a lengthy illness. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Gilbert. He had retired from the Louisiana State Highway Department and had been a resident of Louisiana since 1949. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Sewell, Gilbert; three daughters, Helen Johnson and her husband, George of Gilbert; Doris Prickett and her husband Ray, of Winnsboro; Genny Harris and husband Marty, Gilbert; one son, William Claudie Sewell and his wife, Joyce of Gilbert; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Wayne Ash, Gilbert; grandchildren Michelle Sewell Walsworth, Randy Sewell, Micky Sewell, Terry Johnson, Terrell Johnson, Craig Johnson, Todd Harris, Andy Walsworth and Tyler Harris and a number of nieces and nephews. Jesse Boothe officiating. Interment followed at Coax Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. Vines died Thursday, Jan. 3, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia. She was a member of the Wayside Pentecostal Church and a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Laird, Kirbyville, Tex.; Ruth Azbill, London, Ky.; Margaret Rush, Bartlett, Tenn.; five sons, William H. Vines, Waskom, Tex.; Douglas Vines, Winnsboro, Joe D. Floyd Hawthorne and Rev. George Bates officiating. Burial followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Winborne died Saturday, Dec. 29 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He is survived by two sisters, Jeanette W. Fisher, Winnsboro; Dorothy Pearcy, Westminister, Ca.; two brothers, Charles Winborne and Howard Winborne, both of Winnsboro; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Wolleson died Monday, Dec. 31 at Franklin Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, a farmer and a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Lois B. Wolleson, Winnsboro; one daughter, Dianne W. Stephens, Bastrop; two sons, Gerald and Bernard Wolleson, both of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mary Townsend and Oneida Smith, both of Winnsboro; four brothers, Alton Wollerson, Holland Wollerson, Samuel Wollerson and Osee Wolleson, all of Winnsboro; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
