James Simons and Rev. Kelly Clark officiating. Interment followed at Lone Star Cemetery near Sikes, La. under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Ms. Fussell died Monday at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Columbia, La. A former resident of Winnsboro, she resided at Mary Anna Nursing Home for the past 16 years. She was a member of Fish Bayou Baptist Church. She was also a retired nurse and served in the United States Army during WWII in New Guinea and the Phillipines. Survivors include two brothers, Thomas Fussell, Winnsboro; and John Fussell, Woodbridge, Va.; one sister, Helen Hair, Winnsboro; seven nieces and three nephews. Pallbearers were Tommy Fussell, Kenneth Pepper, Clarence Clark, J. W. Clark, Bernard Davis, and Ralph Jennings. --------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 20, 1991 Submitted March 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd William Audy Hatton Funeral services for William Audy Hatton, 87, of Winnsboro, were held Monday at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Cardin officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Hatton died Sunday at Franklin Medical Center. He was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church, a former member of the Franklin Parish Police Jury, a retired farmer and shoe salesman. Mr. Hatton was also a member of the New Hope Masonic Lodge #328, F.&A.M. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Hatton, Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Good, Arkadelphia, Ark. and one sister, Miss Birdie Hatton, Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Hubert McCain, Chad Hatton, Ronnie Hatton, Joe Hatton, Terry Hatton, and Larry Rigdon. **************************************************************
