"Bill" McNease ***************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA January 22, 1992 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Lola Busby Funeral services for Lola Busby, 88, Winnsboro were held Monday at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Lee Busby officiating. Interment followed at Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. Busby died Saturday at North Monroe Hospital. Mrs. Busby taught in elementay school at Gilbert High School from 1952 through 1968. Prior to that she taught at Crowville High School. She got her Teachers Certificate from Louisiana Normal School in Natchitoches. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education in 1953 in the first summer graduating class after Northeast Louisiana State College became a four year college. She was active in the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association and the Franklin Parish Hospital Auxiliary. She was an active and longtime member of Chase Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School Class and was a member of the WMU. Survivors include her husband, Otto Busby, Winnsboro; two daughters, Jane Busby Corder, Monroe; and Doris Marshall, Sunnyvale, Texas; one son, William O. Busby, Jonesboro; two sisters, Monie Turner and Candice Blasengame, both of Monroe; two brothers, Luther Walters and Quitman Walters, both of Crowville; seven grandsons; Billy, Charles, David and Eric Busby; Byron Corder; Adam and Luke Marshall. Pallbearers were Billy Busby, Charles Busby, Eric Busby, David Busby, Byron Corder and Ron Marshall. George Ferrington officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Michael died Dec. 28, 1991, in Wichita, Kansas. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daren Kanehl, Wichita; brother, Casey Keith Kanehl, Wichita; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Duplichan, Kinder, La.; paternal grandparents, Rayborn Kanehl, Gilbert; Diane Kanehl, Winnsboro; maternal great grandmother, Irene Wiggins, Winnsboro; maternal great grandmother, Gladys Duplichan, Kinder; paternal great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Meloy Richmond, Winnsboro; a number of aunts and uncles. "Bill" McNease Funeral services for Mr. Willie V. "Bill" McNease were held on Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro, Louisiana with the Rev. Tommy McMurray and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro, under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. McNease died Monday, January 13, 1992 at his residence. He was 51 years of age and was owner of Handy House Cafe in Delhi, and Sue's Grocery Store near Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his father, Devon McNease. Survivors include his wife, Sue McNease of Winnsboro; two daughters, Dayna McNease and Elise McNease, both of New Iberia, La.; five sons, Matthew McNease, Jonathan McNease, Joey McNease, Justin McNease all of Winnsboro; and Frankie McNease of New Orleans, La. ; his mother, Virginia Williams of Winnsboro, La.; four sisters, Wanda Drinkwine of Mobile, Ala., Patricia Oppen of Tyler, Texas, Sally Sturdivant and Shirley Ford, both of Crowville, La.; seven brothers, Jim McNease of Lake Charles, Shorty McNease of Chicago, Ill., George McNease of Tallulah, J.C. McNease of Central Point, Ore., Don McNease of Delhi, Harry Dale McNease of Alexandria, Darrell Williams of Winnsboro; one grandchild Brandy McNease of New Iberia. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
