DeWitt, 48, Monroe were held Sunday at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Kolb officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. DeWitt died Friday at his residence in Monroe. He was a certified public accountant 7 controller for Jo? (could not read) Survivors include his wife, Carolyn DeBlieux DeWitt, Monroe; three daughters, Cheryl D. Fortenberry, Winnsboro; Pam DeWitt and Melissa DeWitt, both of Monroe; his mother, Lealis (sic Leolis) DeWitt, Zwolle; one sister, Katherine McCormick, Zwolle; one brother, Willard DeWitt, Many; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Quincy Adams, Raymond Bennett, Jerry Van Underwood, Ralph (Buddy) Jennings, Allen Rials and Lester Fairbanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA April 8, 1992 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Allie Fowler Funeral services for Allie Fowler, 82, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Claudie Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Fowler died Monday at the Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lee (sic Lea) Avis and J. D. Rollins, Buckner, Ark.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph Fowler Sr., Gilbert; Elize (sic Elzie) Fowler Jr. and Virgie Fowler, Winnsboro; two sisters, Lela Mae Norman, Winnsboro; O. L. Harrison, Baker; three step-sisters, Evie Johns, Jessie Mae Cruse, and Sarah Erskine, all of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
