Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Comeaux died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Mr. Comeaux was a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserves for 26 years. He retired as a procurement specialist from Rock Island Arsenal in 1990. During his time of enlistment he had assignments in Korea, Viet Nam, Alaska and Italy. He was active in Winnsboro V.F.W. Post #3155. He was the son of John and Audrey Allen Comeaux. Survivors include his wife, Beverly A. Comeaux, Winnsboro; one daughter, Connie Leigh Comeaux, Monroe; three sons, Christopher T. Comeaux, Moline, Ill.; Mathew (sic Matthew) Douglas Comeaux, DeKalb, Ill.; and James Patrick Comeaux, Baton Rouge; his mother, Audrey Comeaux, Winnsboro; one brother, Glen D. Comeaux, Escotawpa (sic Escatawpa), Miss.; one grandson, Zachary Wayne Comeaux, DeKalb, Ill. Floyd Hawthorne officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Harold was a member of the United Pentecost Church in Oil City. He had been employed by Rowan companies for the past nine years. Survivors include his wife, Veronica Winters Harold, Newellton; two daughters, Victoria Daniel Harold and Ashley Brooke Harold, both of Newellton; his father, William Leader Jr., Bedford, PA; his mother, Bonnie Harold, Newellton; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Harvey Lingerfelter, Bedford, PA; two sisters, Missie Goodwin, Newellton; and Paula Duncan, Alexandria; two brothers, Jackie Harold, Monroe; and Scott Harold, Newellton.
