Graveside services for William J. Austin, 71, of Winnsboro were held 
Thursday at Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.
 
Interment was under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Austin died Wednesday at Franklin Medical Center. He was a resident of 
Winnsboro and a retired heavy equipment operator.
 
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Hawsey and Susan Wall, both of Winnsboro; 
Brenda Humphries (sic Humphreys), Haughton (sic Haltom) City, Texas; six sons, 
William J. Austin Jr., Kosse, Texas; Kelly Austin, Hillsboro, Texas; Gary Austin, Crowville; 
Don Austin, Rob Austin, Michael Austin, all of Winnsboro; one sister, Pearl Martin, 
Sicily Island; two brothers, Monroe Austin, Vicksburg, Ms.; and J. L. Burch, 
Sicily Island; also 15 grandchildren.
