Johnston, 90, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at Boeuf River Baptist Church in Liddieville with the Rev. Paul Kolb and the Rev. Max Lee officiaitng. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Johnston died Thursday at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Hardy Johnston. Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Davis, Winnsboro; Minnie Lee Betts, Napolean, Ohio; Addie Massey, Choudrant; Allie Mayers, Natchez; two sons, W. H. "Bud" Johnston and Billy Ray Johnston, both of Winnsboro; one sister, Annie Reagan, Kerman, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeff Johnston, Ray Johnston, Rickey Johnston, Ronnie Mayers, Alan Mayers and Brent Moses. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 14, 1992 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mandy McKaskle Funeral services for Mandy McKaskle, 90, of Winnsboro were held Monday at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie (sic Jimmy) Harper officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. McKaskle died Saturday at the Franklin Medical Center. Survivors include one daughter, Lucille Jones, Fort Necessity; one son, Willie K. McKaskle, West Monroe; two sisters, Georgia Fussell and Pearl Stewart, both of Monroe; one brother, Rube Herlong, Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were Christopher Jones, Louie Derwood Jr., Dwight Wesley Jones, Troy A.
