Austin, 86,of Fort Necessity were held Saturday at the Fort Necessity Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Blackmon, the Rev. Scott Covington and the Rev. Don Bonner officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his wife Fannie M. Jones Austin. Mr. Austin died Thursday, May 20, 1993 at the Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a deacon and member of the Fort Necessity Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Katherine Austin and R. L. Parrish, Fort Necessity; three grandchildren, Shane, Sharon, and Kim; two great grandchildren David and Brittany; One sister Damer Austin Impson, Winnsboro. Mr. Baum died Sunday, May 23, 1993 at his residence after a short illness. Mr. Baum was a retired farmer and a life long resident of Winnsboro.
