Young *************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 23, 1993 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. Feldridge 'Sis' Boyett Funeral services for Mrs. Feldridge "Sis" Boyett, 55, of Winnsboro, were held Tuesday, June 22, 1993, at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Charrier and the Rev. James Burns officiating. Mrs. Boyett died Sunday, June 20, 1993, at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. Interment was at Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville under the direction of the funeral home. Mrs. Boyett was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel faith. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Boyett of Winnsboro; three daughters, Margaret McVay and Joyce Forrest, both of Crowville and Sandra Boyett of Bastrop; and a son, Winfered Boyett of Rayville; her mother, Thelma Harr of Winnsboro; two brothers, Bill Harr of Natchez and Herbert Harr of Winnsboro; and nine grandchildren. 'Billy' Curry Funeral services for William J. "Billy" Curry Sr., 73, of Wisner were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Wisner with the Rev. Thomas Peoples officiating. Interment followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Curry died Wednesday, May 26, 1993 at the Franklin Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was a resident of Wisner, a member of the T. B. Gilbert Masonic Lodge in Wisner, a member of the First Baptist Church in Wisner, a Shriner, a retired business owner, and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Curry is preceded in death by his wife, Etta L. Curry. Survivors include three daughters, Ann Curry Branstetter, Jakarta, Indonesia; Kitty Curry Moore, Shreveport; Aline Curry Crawford, Monroe; two sons, William James Curry Jr., and Edward Lee Curry, both of Monroe; his mother, Kitty Ingram Curry, Wisner; three sisters, Kitty Marbury, Baton Rouge; Anna Belle Emfinger, Gilbert; Claudia Laney, Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, Burwin E. Curry, Gilbert; Clinton J. Curry, Pensacola, Fla.; also 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Roach, Burwin L. Curry, Mike Emfinger, Frank Beach, George Cotton and Bobby Odeneal. ------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 23, 1993 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Daniel Garth Ross Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 1993, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Chapel in Shreveport for Daniel Garth Ross, 67, of Shreveport. The Rev. Bo Henderson officiated. Interment was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Ross was a native of Ft. Necessity. He died June 12, 1993, at Schumpert Medical Center after a long illness. He was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 250, Mansfield, La., and the El Karubah Shrine Temple in Shreveport. He retired after 42 years of service with United Gas Pipeline Company. He is survived by his wife, Melba Walker Ross of Shreveport; a daughter, Mary E. Hickman and husband, Lewis, of Shreveport; a son, Robert D. Ross and wife, Pam, of Marshall, Texas; two brothers, R. L. Pippins of Forest Hill; and George Ross of Winnsboro; two sisters, Cora Helen Lanier of Crowville, and Jeanette Hood of Victoria, Texas; three grandchildren, Ross and Beth Hickman, both of Shreveport; and Ben Ross of Marshall, Texas. Pallbearers were Ben Hood, J. C. Epps, Hugh Parkman, Fred Whitsett, Charles Flanagan, Wayne Dillman Jr. and Frank Hollenshead. Young Funeral services for Milton J. Young, 74, of Winnsboro were held Friday at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Blair and the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Interment followed in Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Young died Wednesday, May 26, 1993 at the Franklin Medical Center. He served during WWII in the USAAF from 1941-1945. Mr. Young was in the 463rd AAF Bomber Unit as a tailgunner. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Young Narup. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Gorman Young, Winnsboro; a daughter and son-in-law,Mary and Abe Rogers, Bloomfield, New Mexico; a daughter, Kristi Young, West Monroe; a son, Grady "Joe" Young, Winnsboro; one sister, Mildred Kilpatrick, Montogmery, La.; three grandsons, three granddaughters and nine great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Sanders, DeWayne Long, Winton Lofton, Joe P. Jarrette, Joey Jarrette and Gary Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Manning, Robert Manning, William N.
