Hendry Funeral services for Eddie E. Hendry, 36, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne, the Rev. Virgil Harris and the Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Hendry died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994, in Franklin Parish. He was a resident of Winnsboro, employed with Herrington Farms, and attended the Baptist church. Survivors include his wife, Debra Hendry, Winnsboro; his mother, Lucille Hendry, Crowville; two sisters, Dottie McGinnis, Baton Rouge; Sadie Brown, Winnsboro; four brothers, Dub Hendry, Marion; J. W. Hendry, Crowville; Terry Hendry and Jerry Hendry, both of Winnsboro. Robert Magee and the Rev. John Bonner officiating. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Klipatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Johnson died Monday, Jan. 3, 1994 at Lincoln General Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston; a native and former resident of Winnsboro and Monroe from 1951 to 1974. She had been a resident of Ruston since 1974. She was a member of several organizations pertaining to the nursing field. Mrs. Johnson was one of the first LPN's in the state of Louisiana. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Melba and Aubrey Jones, Ruston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Royce and Clovis Johnson, Columbia; George and Shirley Johnson, Winnsboro; one sister, Leah Kellar, Ruston; six grandchildren and nine great-greatchildren. Tommie King and Billy Martin officiating. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Posey died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993 at the Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. Thompson Jr. Funeral services for G.B. Thompson, Jr. 86, of Liddieville were held Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman Savoir officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Thompson died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 1994 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Myrtle Adams Thompson and a daughter, Mae-Latance Easterling. Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine Morgan, Lafayette; Patricia Ann Nauck, Hammond; Linda Fay Brian, West Monroe; one son, G.B. Thompson III, West Monroe; one sister, Lillian Lala, New Orleans; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Paul Kolb officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Williams died Monday, Jan. 24, 1994 in Monroe after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Geraldine W. Hood, Port Arthur, Texas; one son, John B. Williams, Bossier City; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donald Wright, Charles Winters, Jimmy Lanier, Greg Bonner, Ricky Smith and Hurby Hitt.
