Fowler, 68, of Winnsboro were held Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Ralph Thomas officiating. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Fowler died Saturday, March 5, 1994 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro following an extended illness. Mr. Fowler was a retired manager of McLemore's after 25 years. He was also a cattle farmer and ginner. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during WWII. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Gill Fowler, Winnsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny and Don McDonald, Monroe; Christy and Buddy Fulford, Winnsboro; mother, Alice Fowler, Winnsboro; four sisters, Agnes McCaffery and Inez Kellicutt, both of Vicksburg, Miss.; Clara Curtis, Enid, Okla.; and Juanita Fisher, Natchez, Miss.; one brother, Woody Williams, Nacogdoches, Texas; three grandchildren, Betsy, Ben and Jade. Pallbearers were Larry Riley, George Ray Faulk, Ray Thomas, Johnny Coon, Tim McCaffery and Pat McCaffery. Carlos Trapp officiating. Interment followed in Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Rashal died Saturday, March 26, 1994 at the Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James and Sylvia Rashal, Newellton; sister-in-law, Evelyn Vick, Gilbert; also a number of nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro. Mrs. Rashal died Monday, Feb. 28, 1994 at Golden Doors Nursing Home in Winnsboro. Mrs. Rashal was born in Union Parish, but had been a long time resident of Winnsboro. She was member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn R. and A.J. Vick, Gilbert; sister, Essie Smith, Farmerville; five grandchildren, Fannie Jean Fortenberry and Roger Wright, both of Winnsboro; Barbara Lee, Ruston; James Rashal, Newellton; Jimmy Holloway, Wisner; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tuberville (sic Turbeville) died Tuesday, March 1, 1994 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker, and a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church of Liddieville. Welch Funeral services for Oakley W. Welch, 70, were held Thursday at First United Pentecostal Church in Winnsboro with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Welch died at his residence Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994 after a sudden illness. He was a former resident of Eunice and a resident of Winnsboro. Mr. Welch was a retired gas superintendent for the city of Eunice, a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Winnsboro, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann S. Welch. Survivors include two sons, Barry Lane Welch Sr., Bossier City; Danny O. Welch Sr., Grayson; one sister, Flora Streeter, Waco, Texas; also three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
