Larry Eubanks officiatiing. Interment followed at the Church cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Berry died Sunday, March 19, 1995 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Wisner, homemaker and a member of South Central Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jo Robbins, Wisner; two sons, J. B. Berry, Wisner; Randolph Berry, Chalmette; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Tommy King and the Rev. Billy Martin officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Harris died Thursday, Feb. 23, 1995 at Franklin Guest Home after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker, and a member of Apostolic Faith Chapel in Gilbert. Survivors include her husband, Herman Harris, Winnsboro; two daughters, Sadie Mae Bryant, Natchez, Miss.; Linda Sikes, Winnsboro; one son, Rev. Virgil Harris, Jigger; a special friend, Lola Jane Hitt, Jigger; also 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. 'Mamie' Slade Funeral services for Maud E. "Mamie" Slade, 94, of Baskin were held Friday at Baskin Baptist Church with the Rev. S. B. Boyette and the Rev. Leroy Dickerson officiating. Interment followed at Union Cemetery near Baskin under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Slade died Wednesday, March 1, 1995 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born July 25, 1900, a resident of Baskin, a homemaker, a member of Baskin Baptist Church where she taught Training Union to the young children. Survivors include one daughter, Irene Finklea, Shreveport; two sons and daughters-in-law, J. C. and Rosa Slade, Baskin; Robert and Agnes Slade, Bastrop; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Slade, Monroe; one sister, Mildred Mercer, San Angelo, Texas; two brothers, S. T. McDonald, Baskin; Mahier McDonald, Mangham; also 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; Nephews, who served as pallbearers, were Marshall McDonald, S. Karen Rogers and the Rev. Leroy Dickinson officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Hale Cemetery near Baskin under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Tyler died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995 at Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe. He attended Union Presbyterian Church in Baskin and was a retired school bus driver for 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Tyler, Baskin; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Tyler and Kenneth Wayne Newsom, Hattiesburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Sandy Tyler, and Ed and Tressie Tyler, all of Baskin; stepfather and step mother, Louis D. and Bill Stephenson, Baskin; four granddaughters, Terri and Ken Harrell, Delhi; Tina Newsom, Hattiesburg; Rebecca Lee and Luraen Elizabeth Tyler, Baskin; one great-grandchild, Brittany Lynn Harrell; one sister, Carolyn Schriver, Baskin; one brother, Rev. Vernon Stephenson, Many. Pallbearers were Alton McKeithen, George Robinson, Stephen Searcy, Wade Wright, Ken Harrell and Bob Purvis.
