Interment and graveside services followed at Ogden Cemetery with Dr. Paul Kolb officiating, under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Malone died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1995 in Waldron, Ark. He was a resident of Waldron; past resident of Archibald; was a member of the Baptist faith; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; and was a member of Sam B. Crawford Masonic Lodge #1418 New Caney, Texas. Mr Malone was preceded in death by his wife, Gibber Norman Malone. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Hunt, Waldron, Ark.; one son, William L. Malone, Buchanan, Mich.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Hazel Malone, Start; Mark Wells, Grand Prairie, Texas; Lillie Norman, Archibald; Nan Norman, Rayville; C. Q. (sic C.L.) and Ollene Norman, West Monroe; Daisy Underwood, Juanita and Donald Wright, Theresa Simon, Nathan and Betty Jo Norman, all of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Nathan Layne Miles, James Payne Miles, Quitman Dayne Miles, Olen Wayne Miles, and Kari Jayne Brown; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Spencer Van Underwood, Nathan Miles, Quitman Miles, James Miles, Kari Jayne Brown and Olen Miles. **********************************************************
