Paul Kolb officiating, and eulogy by Jay Adams. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Bryant died Friday, Feb. 2. 1996 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a member of the Boeuf River Baptist Church in Liddieville and was a school teacher for the past 25 years in Louisiana schools. Survivors include one sister, Carolyn Etheridge, Winnsboro; one brother, Arlon Adams, Start; one niece and three nephews. Interment will follow in Reagan Cemetery near Baskin under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Cook died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996. She was a homemaker. ---------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 28, 1996 Submitted April 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Russell Hickingbottom Funeral services for Russell Hickingbottom, 27, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at Boeuf River Baptist Church in Liddieville with the Dr. Paul Kolb and the Rev. Will Young officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Hickingbottom died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 1996. He was a resident of Winnsboro and an employee of Southwestern Oil Company of Houston, Texas, a member of Local 798 Pipeline Union. Mr. Hickingbottom attended Boeuf River Baptist Church and a graduate of Ogden High School. Survivors include his parents, John and Annette Hickingbottom, Winnsboro; one brother, Daniel Hickingbottom, Montgomery, Ala.; grandmother, Rutha Russell, Winnsboro; niece and nephew, Anna and Daniel Hickingbottom Jr.; also a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers were first cousins and co-workers of his crew. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 21, 1996 Submitted April 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Charles Arnold Hilbun Sr. Funeral services for Charles Arnold Hilbun Sr. 95, of San Antonio, Texas, were held Tuesday at Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Wayne Bolton officiating. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Hilbun died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996 at Southeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. He resided at a nursing home in Leverne, Texas. Before that time, he had spent time in Golden Doors of Winnsboro. He was a native of Louisiana, born July 1, 1900 in Atlanta, La. and spent many years in Franklin Parish. He was preceded in death by one of his daughters, Patsy Hilbun Folds. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Molly Hearn Hilbun, San Antonio; three daughters, Maxine Roberts, Shirley Smith and Peggy Hartman, all of San Antonio; two sons, Charles A. Hilbun Jr., San Antonio; Jack Hilbun, St. Joseph, La.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Gordon Hilbun and Gerald Hilbun, both of Baskin; Curt Hilbun, Wisner; Mayo Hilbun, Rayville. Pallbearers were Michael Schwartz, Danny Schwartz, Mike Folds, Ronald Hilbun, Richard Hartman and Pat David Folds. Wayne Smith and the Rev. Floyd Temple officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Ms. Nichols died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1996 at her residence. She was a resident of West Monroe, formerly of Winnsboro, a CPA, and a member of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her parents, Joe Cecil and Arrabella Nichols, Winnsboro; two sisters, Pam Nichols, West Monroe; Heather Nichols, Winnsboro; five brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Glenda Nichols; Charles and Barbara Nichols; Sidney Bruce and Patsy Nichols; Joe Cecil Jr. and Jenny Nichols; Allen Dale and Patty Nichols, all of Winnsboro; also a host of nieces and nephews.
