'Wimp' Fain Funeral services for Wilbur J. "Wimp" Fain, 72 of Winnsboro were held Saturday at Boeuf River Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Kolb officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Fain died Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996 at Overton Brooks V.A Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish and a retired farmer. Mr. Fain was preceded in death by one brother, Dorfus Fain. Survivors include his wife, Ellie C. Fain, Winnsboro; his former wife and friend, Joyce C. Fain, Winnsboro; daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Lee DeMoss, Bossier City; Teresa and James Murphy, West Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, Kyle and Sharri Fain, Chatham; Craig Fain, Winnsboro; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Marie Plank, Rayville; Hazel Beard, Ann Hilman and Jean Humphries, all of Shreveport. Pallbearers were G.B. Tucker tuckarb701@bellsouth.net January 30, 2006, 12:21 pm Chattanooga Times, August 2, 1996 EDNA WALTERS Edna Nash Walters of Rossville, died Wednesday, July 31, 1996, in a local hospital. She was 86. She was a member of the East Ridge Church of God and the widow of Rueben Nash and Julian Walters. Survivors include her children, Aileen Nash Schubert, Rossville, James R. Nash, Chattanooga, Gloria Nash Harbin, Cleveland, and Don Wayne Nash, Arlington, Va.; four sisters, Odessa Johnson, Adell Black and Ruth Fuller, all of Delhi, La., and Henrietta Carpenter, Roxie, Miss.; one brother, James W. Tucker, Rossville, Ga.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. John Lemons and Rev. Terry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Visitation will be today after 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
