Day, 79, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday at Wayside Pentecostal Church near Winnsboro with the Rev. Jesse Boothe and the Rev. Scott Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Day died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1996 at Franklin Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker, and a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raliegh Day. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jack Windham, Delhi; three sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Beth Day, Monroe; Glynn and Connie Day, Dewayne and Linda Day, all of Winnsboro; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and Raymond Thomas, Winnsboro; Katheryn and Thomas Dickey, Houston; one brother, H. B. McCarty, Winnsboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jack Windham, Eric Day, Doyle Harris, Kevin Cavelliro, Bernard Wolleson, and Johnny Belton. Mr. Easterling died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1996 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop. He was a resident of Oak Grove, past resident of Winnsboro, a carpenter, and a member of United Pentecostal Church in Oak Grove. Mrs. Huff died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1996 at St. Francis Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her son, Marvin Eugene Southern, and brothers, Lester and Carlton Huff.
