Paul Kolb officiating. Interment was under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mrs. Braswell died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997 in Monroe. She was a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Braswell is preceded in death by her husband, Lige A. Braswell Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Braswell, Houston, Texas; Janet Gilbert, Waxahachie, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Kay Braswell, Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Elbert J. and Sophie Bridges, Clarksville, Tenn.; grandson, James A. Braswell and wife, Janet; granddaughter, Julie C. Hickman and husband, Brian. ************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA August 20, 1997 Submitted April 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd George 'Bud' Glenn Madden Funeral services for George "Bud" Glenn Madden, 75, of Crowville were held Tuesday at Riser First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with the Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Madden died Saturday Aug. 16, 1997 at Mary Anna Nursing Home in Wisner after a lengthy illness. He was a retired cotton gin manager at Donnell Gin near Crowville. Mr. Madden was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Madden, and a granddaughter, Pam Nelson. Survivors include his wife Martha Lee Duff Madden, Crowville; daughter, Martha Ann Madden Clay, Memphis, Tenn.; son, Col. Michael W. Nelson, Saudi Arabia; sister, Maxine Emmerett, Medera, Calif; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Nolan Comeaux, Dewey Donnell, Geral Donnell, Carl Killian, James Glenn Madden II, and Michael Madden. *************************************
