James W. Simons officiating. Interment was under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Haire was born in Jackson Parish on June 30, 1915 and died on Jan. 4, 1998 in Winnsboro. Mrs. Haire graduated from Crowville High School, May 28, 1936. She graduated from Saint Mary's School of Nursing, Sept. 1, 1939, a three year diploma nursing school in Galveston, Texas, she passed the State of Louisiana, La. Nurses Board and became a registered nurse Nov. 3, 1939. She was a member of Fish Bayou Baptist Church. Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by her husband, William Lyles Haire, and sisters, Hazel Fussell Young and Mable Fussell. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Marie Haire Henson, Billie Evelyn Peters, and Sally Ann Nobles, all of Winnsboro; five grandchildren, Lynda Kay Henson of Florida; Gerald David Guyton of California; Ronald Lea Guyton of Hawaii; Jeffery Collins, Gilbert; Jeremy Collins, Monroe; two brothers, John W. Mrs. Shipley died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness.
