Roy Edgar Thompson Jr.

Funeral servcies for Roy Edgar Thompson Jr., 63, of Brusly, were held Thursday at 
Wilbert Funeral Home Chapel in Port Allen with the Rev. Joe Alain officiating.
Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Wilbert Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson died Tuesday, Aug. 25 1998 at his home. He was a native of Winnsboro, 
a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a member of Moose Lodge No. 2007 in Brusly.
Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his father, Roy Edgar Thompson, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Phoebe Johnson Thompson, Flora, Miss.; a daughter, 
Darlene Howe, New Caney, Texas; three sons, Roy Edgar Thompson III, Baytown, Texas; 
Terry Louis Thompson, Big Town, Texas; Troy Gerald Thompson, Oklahoma City; two sisters, 
Mollie Thompson, Flora, Miss.; Burta Thompson Johnson, Gautier, Miss.; 
two step-daughters, Christine Sanders, Vidalia; Caroline Holzhauer; two step-sons, 
Carl and Jimmy Holzhauer; 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials made be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 8322 One Calais Ave. Suite A, 
Baton Rouge, 70808-3412.
