Tim Weems officiating, assisted by the Rev. Don Slider. Graveside services followed at Central Baptist Church Cemetery in Wisner under the direction of Laird Funeral Home of Natchez. Mr. Berry died Tuesday , Oct. 6, 1998 at his residence. He was born Dec 3, 1941 in Wisner, son of Grady Lee and Irama Lee Stroud Berry. He was a Amatuer Ham Radio Operator and a member and past-president of the Natchez Amateur Radio Club. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Wade Berry, Natchez; sons, Richard and Wanda Berry, Vicksburg; Dr. Ronald Berry, Monroe, Roger and Racheal Berry, Natchez; mother and step-father, Irma and Charles Bowman, Vidalia; brother Johnny Berry, Gilbert; and grandchildren Colby Berry, Maranda Berry, and Kristen Berry. Pallbearers were Billy Wade, Henry Brady, Jr. Steve Brunner, Dr. Harold Jeffcoat, Eric Smith, and Ronald Gill. Honorary pallbearers were amatuer ham operators. The family request memorials be made to Parkview Church of God. ----------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 28, 1998 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Russell Faulk Funeral services for Russell Faulk, 67, of Winnsboro were held Wednesday in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with the Rev. Charles Parker and the Rev. Gerald Hood officiating. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Faulk played semi-pro baseball for several years. He was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church of Winnsboro, and was retired from Bell South Telephone Company after 29-1/2 years. Survivors iclude his wife, Aubrey Wallace Faulk, Winnsboro; two daughters, Denise Washer, Petaluma, Calif.; Kim Ulmer and husband, Brian, Crowville; one sister, D.L.O. Eubanks, Winnsboro; one brother, George Ray Faulk, Winnsboro; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Henry Hutson, George Faulk Jr., James Spence Jr., Larry Riley, Joe Westerburg, and Mike Garner. Services were under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Austin was born Sept. 22, 1998 at Ferriday and died October 17, 1998 at Franklin Medical Center. Survivors include his parents, Leroy and Misty Harr, Winnsboro; brother, Leroy A. Floyd Hawthorne and the Rev. Tommy McMurray officiating. Burial followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Tarver died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998 in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramage (Bootsie) Tarver and twin grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bettie and Delma Carter of Shreveport; Annette and Albert Williams of West Monroe; one son, Billy Gerald Tarver of Winnsboro; two sisters, Hettie Manning and Christine Thompson, both of West Monroe; five grandsons, three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Turnage died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998 at Golden Door Nursing Home in Winnsboro. She was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. Mrs. Turnage was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton M. Turnage. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jerry V. Underwood, Winnsboro; grandchildren, Spencer Underwood and Adriane Underwood, both of Winnsboro; great-grandchildren, Lewis Temple and Heath Temple, both of Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Ralph Jennings, Donald Wright, John Horne, Ricky Johnston, Bobby Woods, and Harold Russell.
