Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Johns died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker and a member of Lone Cedar Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a son, James Edward Johns; and a grandson, Andre S. Johns.
