Carolyn Adams Etheridge, 62, of Winnsboro, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, following a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 17 north of Crowville. Funeral services for Mrs. Etheridge were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Charles Langford and the Rev. Karen Rogers officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Etheridge had served as a school teacher for more than 26 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Adams. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Russell Etheridge, Winnsboro; daughter, Joanna and husband, Terry Haring, Winnsboro; son, Dale and wife, Rhonda Etheridge, Winnsboro; four grandchildren, Jodie and Joshua Etheridge; Caleb and Mary Grace Haring; brother, Arlon and wife, Dot Adams, Start; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor died Saturday, October 16, 1999 at Franklin Medical Center. She was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Taylor, Sr., and son Walter R.
