Mr. Clarkson worked for Tennessee Gas Company for nearly 30 years before retiring to Pattison, Miss., where he enjoyed his favorite past time - deer hunting. He is survived by his wife Delores M. J.W.. Allen and the Rev. Johnny Mathis officiating. Interment followed at Hewitt Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Taylor died Thursday, December 15, 1999 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Snake Ridge. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, George Taylor. Survivors include a daughter, Arline Twiner, Alto; brothers, Theodore Lord and Joe Neal Lord, both of Baskin; Allen Lord, California; four grandchildren, Pamela Sue Dickey, Winnsboro; Buddy Twiner, Vicky Smith and Rhonda Childress, all of Alto; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
