Paul Perry and the Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Temple died Saturday, April 8, 2000 at Branch Springs Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was a retired designer draftsman. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Temple. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Carr Temple of Houston, Texas; daughter, April Denise Temple of Houston; sons, Truett Allen Temple of West Monroe; Shannon Dewayne Temple of Houston; his mother, Loree Fulford Temple of Winnsboro; sister, Carolyn Ann Miles of Winnsboro; Brenda Gayle Merrill of Deer Park, Texas; brother, Terry Earl Temple of Vicksburg, Mississippi; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Johnathon Merrill, Kevin Merrill, Jason Temple, Ronnie McDonald, Bobby Roberts and Ralph Cottingham. Roger Johnson and the Rev. Fred Keys officiating. Interment followed at Gwin Cemetery in Mangham under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Mr. Thames died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a member of New Light Baptist Church, native of Mangham. Mr. Thames was a retired farmer and electrician, and worked at many of the cotton gins in the Mangham area. Mr. Thames was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Bell Thames; parents, Neal and Ella Thames; and a sister, Lorice Reagan. Survivors include daughters, Carol Jean Thames of Monroe; Linda Crain of Vidalia; sons, Dennis thames of rayville; Marshall Thames of Mangham; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Roundtree of West Monroe; Wilma Harris and Mavis Mangum both of Winnsboro; Doris Evans of Baton Rouge; brother, Thomas Thames of Mangham. Pallbearers were George Edward Thames, Billy Johnson, Travis "Bud" Chapman, Wayne Poindexter, Eddie Baroni and Gary Piro. George Bonner officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Winters died Tuesday, April 25, 2000. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Winters Smith; grandparents, Jessie Clayton Winters and Girlie Winters; brothers, Buck Winters and Curley Winters. Survivors include a daughter, Samantha R. Barnes of Roger, Arkansas; son, Monty S. Winters, Jr. of Roger, Arkansas; sister, Tammy Jordan of Winnsboro; brother, Benny Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; extended family of brothers and sisters, Lucille Roy of Fort Worth, Texas; Earline Simons, J.C. Winters and Linda Winters Posey all of Winnsboro; Judy Winters Knight of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Bo Winters of Lacombe, La.; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ricky Fortenberry, Jerry Hendry, Mark Massey, Matt Reynolds, Neil Simons and Clay Winters.
