Stewart *********************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA March 21, 2001 Submitted March 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Billy Ray Byrnes Funeral services for Billy Ray Byrnes, 50, of Winnsboro were held Saturday with the Rev. Virgil Harris and the Rev. Roger Pete officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Byrnes died Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at Summit Hospital in West Monroe after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Winnsboro and attended the Pentecostal faith. His father, Sammie J. Byrnes precedes him in death. Survivors include his mother, Adelia S. Byrnes, Winnsboro; sisters, Dottie Guimbellot, Lake Village, Ark.; and Ann Toney, Winnsboro; brothers Roy Byrnes, Roanoke, Va.; Earl Byrnes, Haughton; and Rev. Jerry Byrnes, West Monroe; and a host of neices and nephews. Pallbearers were Ralph W. Toney Jr., Bill Jarvis, C. L. Guimbellot, Ronald McManus, Sammy R. Stewart Funeral services for Grady R. Stewart, 76, of Winnsboro will be at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev. Francis Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Stewart died Monday, March 26, 2001 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, and was in the heating/air conditioning business for many years. He served in U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS DeGrassee, in the South Pacific. He loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Stewart, Winnsboro; daughter Marilyn Neaville and husband Phillip, Ruston; son Dennis Stewart, Rayville; step-son, Jimmy Cruse, Livingston, La.; brother, Charles Stewart, Winnsboro; sister Mary Ann Stewart, Florida; brothers-in-law, Curtis Adcock and Buddy Adcock, Winnsboro. Pallbearers will be grandson, Jamie Godbold, David Godbold, John Ludwig, Charles Ludwig, Evan Stewart, and nephew, Robert, "Bubba" Stewart. Other grandchildren are Kimberly Ludwig, Catherine Stewart, Erroll Neaville, and Johnny Cruse. Honorary pallbearers are H.D. Jones, Winton P.
