Leroy Croke
 
Services for Mr. Leroy Croke, 96, of Winnsboro will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, 
July 11, 2001, at the chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne 
and the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.
 
Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery.
 
Mr. Croke died Sunday at Franklin Guest Home. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a retired farmer 
and a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Croke, and a grandson Glynn Croke.
 
Survivors include his son, J. H. (sic J.B.) Croke of Eros; daughter Bonnie Sikes of Winnsboro; 
four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; along with 
two step grandchildren and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers will be Lynn David Sikes, Mark Smith, David DeShay Sikes, Lonnie Ray Polk, Jeremy Polk 
and Brian L. Croke.  
 
Honorary pallbearer will be Colby Smith.

Myrtle Marie Fortenberry
 
Services for Mrs. Myrtle Marie Fortenberry, 80, of Winnsboro weere held Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at the chapel 
of Community Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Couch officiating.
 
Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville.
 
Mrs. Fortenberry died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Franklin Medical Center. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a 
homemaker and member of the Pentecostal faith.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Fortenberry.
 
Survivors include her children, Bobby Ray Fortenbery, Charles Edward Fortenberry, Dixie Milton, Jerry Neal 
Fortenberry, Judy Dianne Brown and Donna Brown; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four 
great-great-grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers were Ricky Fortenberry, Shawn Fortenberry, Chad Hatton, Richard Bertolino, Michael Moore and 
Eric Andrews.
 
Honorary pallbearers were Shane Fortenberry and Terry Milton.
