Ingram Funeral services for Tammy P. Ingram, 38, of Winnsboro were held Monday at the Chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev. Woodson McGuffie and Marion Collier officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Ingram died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport after a sudden illness. She was a native and resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker and a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, James Dewey Polk, and two sons, Devin Dale and Rayne Michael Ingram. Survivors include her husband, Mike Ingram, Winnsboro; daughters, Raelin Stormy Ingram and Tamrin Lee Ingram, both of Winnsboro, mother, Beverly Polk, Winnsboro; sister, Gloria Jean Ingram, Winnsboro; brothers; James Dewey Polk Jr., and Lonnie Ray Polk, both of Winnsboro; also nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bobby Wood, Bill Anderson, Jackie Ray Poland, Ralph Campbell, Mark Ingram and Larry Don Brown. **************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA August 8, 2001 Submitted September 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Vella McKaskle Funeral servcies for Vella McKaskle, 86, of Wisner were held Monday at Gill First National Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Thomas Peoples, and the Rev. Lee Piercy officiating. Burial followed at South Central Cemetery near Wisner under the direction of Gill First National Funeral of Winnsboro. Mrs. McKaskle was born March 25, 1915 in Wisner and passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001 at Mary Anna Nursing Home in Wisner. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Wisner, former Sunday School teacher, choir member and was custodian at the church for 14 years. She was a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. McKaskle was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McKaskle. Survivors include a daughter, Bobby Fay Berry and her husband, Elbert, Wisner; son, Mallory Banister and his wife, Linda, Minden; step-son, Frank McKaskle and wife, Shirley, Transylvania; eight gradnchildren and nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Jim Taylor, Bro. Virgil Harris, and Bro. Stacy Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Fort Necessity Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Thomas was born Aug. 16, 1930 in Winnsboro and died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro. He was formerly employed for 32 years with the Milk House in Winnsboro and at the time of his death he was owner of Thomas Auto Repairs in Winnsboro. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, J. W. Thomas and a sister, Vera Wright. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, JoAnn Thomas; seven children, Stacy Thomas Sr. and wife, Patsy of Winnsboro; Mickel Wayne Thomas and wife, Connie of Monroe; Wanda Ezell and husband, Joel of Wisner; Kenny Thomas and wife Tammy of Columbia; Gary Allen Thomas of Winnsboro; Sherri Higgerson and husband Bo of Winnsboro; Joel Scott Thomas and wife Robin of Winnsboro; one sister, John E. Thomas and wife Ida. V. of Winnsboro; one sister, Hazel Hays and husband, Henry of Monroe; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ted Cowart, Larry Wayne Givens, Terry McGhee, Matt Thomas, Ronnie Thomas Jr., and Jimmy Wilhite.
