Cooper Jr. Funeral services for D. F. Cooper Jr., 73, of Gilbert were held Monday at the chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev. Bobby Ensminger officiating. Interment followed at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Cooper died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a resident of Gilbert, retired school bus driver and farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. He also served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his parents D. F. "Fred" Cooper Sr. and Lillie Mae Welch Cooper. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Wanda G. Cooper of Gilbert; one son, David F. Cooper III and wife Carllette of Rayville; two grandsons, John Cooper and wife Julie, Thad Cooper and wife Wendy; great-grandchildren Brendan, Harrison, Ethan and Bonnie Cooper; one niece Bobbie Emfinger of Monterey; one nephew Frank Ray Wilson of Natchez, Miss. Pallbearers were John Cooper, Thad Cooper, Ray Emfinger, Scott Emfinger, Clyde Evans, Brown McLemore, Terry Stephens and T. J. Crum Funeral services for Sula L. Crum, 85, of Jigger were held Thursday at Apostolic Faith Chapel with the Revs. Virgil Harris, Billy Martin and William Guimbellot officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Crum died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, a retired farmer, and a member of Apostolic Faith Chapel. He also served with the United States Army during WWII. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jestine P. Crum, Jigger; children, D. L. Crum and wife Helen, Joyce Kincaid and husband Johnny, all of Jigger; Janice Jordan and husband Mike, Winnsboro; brothers, Nolan Crum and Huey Crum, both of Fort Necessity, granddaughters, Renne Free, Jana Thomas, Kristy Harris, Megan Goyens and Amber Jordan; grandsons, Darrell Crum, Todd Jordan and Tra Jordan; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Hailey Free, and Joshua Harris; also a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Walter Lee Fowler, Woody Cauley, Lonnie Sanders, Webster Stephens, Billy James and Dallas Crain. Neil Raborn officiating. Services were under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Warner went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at Healthcare Center Conway, Ark. She was a native and past resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee W. Warner, and son, Charlie. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bert and Janice Warner of North Little Rock, Ark.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
