"Butch" Clark, 53, of Baskin, Louisiana were held at Hill Ridge Baptist Church near Crowville, with the Rev. Doug White and the Rev. Mickey Gallup officiating. Burial followed at Harris Cemetery near Crowville under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Rev. Clark was born October 23, 1948 in Winnsboro and went home to the Lord, Saturday, August 17, 2002 in Rayville at Richardson Medical Center Following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Hill Ridge Baptist Church and Crowville Masonic Lodge. He had been an ordained minister for 20 years, serving in numerous churches in the area. He was also a self-employed trucker, sharing the ministry with other truckers on their CB Radio, where he was known as "Preacher Man". He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, L. Clark. Survivors include his wife Laverne Dunham Clark of Baskin; two daughters, Michelle Clark of Lewisville, Texas; Melinda Clark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his mother, Louise Flint Clark of Baskin; three sisters Mary Louise Bartholomew of Abbeville; Shirley Ashley and husband Vernon of Raymondville, Texas; and Faye Huntsman and husband Alma of Crossett, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Johnny McDaniel, Charles Ray Dunham, Kenny Dunham, David Dunham, ************************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 9, 2002 Submitted April 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Jewell Prince Wiggins Funeral services for Jewell Prince Wiggins, 92, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro with the Dr. Bill Robertson officiating. Burial followed at Coax Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Wiggins died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her husband, I.J. Wiggins, three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Robert W. Prince, Luke Scott, Dale Norwood, Ken McCain, Kenny Banks and Dennis Sims. Honorary pallbearers were John A. Paul Kolb officiating. Burial followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Williams was born April 25, 1911 in Franklin Parish, and passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at Franklin Medical Center. He was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church and Woodman of the World. He is preceded in death by his infant son; his parents; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Willie M. Williams, Winnsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
