Betty Jean 'Bea' Parker
 
Funeral services for Betty Jean "Bea" Parker, of Wisner were 
held Saturday at Wisner Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Calvin Stapp 
and the Rev. David Oliver officiating.
 
Interment followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Community 
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Betty was born on October 22, 1946; on Thursday, March 6, 2003, at the age of 56, 
she went home to be with her Lord. She was a lifelong resident of Wisner, a homemaker 
and attended the First Assembly of God Church Mangham.
 
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Parker; daughter, Sharon Chappell and husband, 
Byron; son Kevin Parker and wife, Kerri; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Jurnee Chappell; 
Steven, Stephanie and Felicia Parker; Olivea Humphreys, Jacob Guillot; and Ge Ge her special dog, 
all of Wisner; siblings Henry Allbritton, Irene Lee and Jessie Allbritton, all of Wisner; and 
Mary Herring of Natchez, Miss.
 
Pallbearers were Jeffrey Gallagher, Louie Boone, Chad McDaniel, Vance Ogden, Lanny Head and 
James Allbritton.
