J.B. Croke
 
Funeral services for J.B. Croke, 77, of Eros will be at 11 a.m. Friday, 
June 27, at the Chapel of Community Memorial.
 
Interment will follow at Ogden cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial 
Funeral Home Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Croke died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at his residence. He was a native of Franklin Parish, 
past resident of Winnsboro; he was retired with the U.S. Postal Service and retired with the 
United States Navy having served in WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era.
 
His wife, Polly Brown Croke, parents, Leroy and Inez Croke, a son Glynn L. Croke and a 
great-grandson David Young precede him in death.
 
Survivors include his children, Vicky Diane Hicks, Oakhurst, Texas; Brian L. Croke of Eros; 
Mary Pat Polk, Winnsboro; a sister, Bonnie C. Sikes, Winnsboro; five grandchidlren and 
six great-grandchildren.
 
Friends may call on Thursday after 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.
