She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dewey G. "Lucky" Barnes Jr. of Crowville; her son Dewey G. Barnes III and daughter-in-law, Pam of Worden, Illinois; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Lynn and Michael R. Tucker of Winnsboro; Carol and W.H. "Dub" Sanders of Gilbert. Mrs. Barnes left a rich legacy of six grandchildren, Kelly Kucin of Durham N.C.; Dewey G. Barnes IV of East Alton, Illinois; Dawn Pennebaker of Calhoun, La; Kristie McFarland of Blanchard, La; Mindy Robinson of Shreveport; and Blake Tucker of Baton Rouge; four great-grandchildren, Josh and Ella Kate Pennebaker, Zane McFarland and Christopher Barnes; and three more great-grandchildren on the way. Mr. Ensminger was born March 3, 1922 in Wisner and passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a member of South Central Baptist Church. Mr. Ensminger, who was known as "Bob" to most, was a veteran of World War II, served as a past member of the Franklin Parish Police Jury and was a thirty-second degree Mason. Mr. Ensminger was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Rosa Stampley Ensminger. Marian was born on October 6, 1947, in El Campo, Texas. She graduated from El Campo High School, then enrolled and earned a nursing degree from Wharton Junior College in Wharton, Texas. Marion was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and playing with all of her pets. Marian was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Marian was preceded in death by her father, Marion Franklin Stancliff Sr., three siblings, Marion Franklin Stancliff Jr., Barbara Sue Stancliff and Robert Wayne Stancliff. He was a member of Crockett Point Baptist Church in Crowville and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Hodge, an outdoorsman who enjoyed vegetable gardening, was formerly employed at White Ford in Winnsboro, and had most recently worked at Rayville Autoplex, transporting cars. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 305 and taught in Louisiana Public School for 37 years.He started out as a girls' and boys' basketball coach in Collingston High School in 1956. He then moved to Vidalia in 1963 and taught at Vidalia High School until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Langston Watson; two brothers, George Morgan Hastings and John Edward Hastings; two sisters, Nellie Mae Curry and Barbara Olivia Dampier.
