Bobby Emsminger officiating. Burial followed in Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Mrs. Ezell was born Oct. 3, 1902 in Atlanta, La., to the union of her parents Robert and Ola Erwin Collins. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gilbert. Mrs. Ezell was preceded in death by her husband, Gillis Ezell; brothers, Deville, Marcus, Leo, Woodrow, and Truitt Collins; sisters, Annie Lee Emfinger and Lela Foy. Survivors include one son, Joel Ezell, Gilbert; sister, Norine Parnell, Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. ----------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA August 25, 2004 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Debra Brown Parker Funeral services for Debra Brown Parker, 47, of Winnsboro were held Monday at First Baptist Church in Crowville with the Rev. Carl Gulde and the Fev. Francis Williams officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro. Mrs. Parker died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 at home. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a nurses aide with Franklin Guest Home, and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Crowville, where she dedicated her service and love to the nursery babies of the church for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Regina Dianne Hendry; husbands, Eddie Hendry and Joe Parker; and father, John Benard Brown. Survivors include her mother, Helen Mayree Lewis Brown, Winnsboro; two sisters, Connie Howington, Senatobia, Miss.; Darlene Fowler, Crowville; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Walker, Steven Walker, Brandon Fowler, Tony Amos, Todd Ulmer and Nick Poulos. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Buchan, Lynn Clement, Glen Williams, Kenneth Peters, Tommie Moore, Roy McDuffie, Mike Hammons, Mike Hipp, Gene Freeman, Marion Collier, and Dorcas Ladies Sunday School Class. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
