Thornton William "Rusty" Wilson ********************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 9, 2005 Submitted August 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Annie Ruth Rider Funeral services for Annie Ruth Rider, 82, of Winnsboro will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Neal Price officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Young's Commmunity Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Mrs. Rider died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker, and a member of the Boeuf River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Otto Rider, two brothers, Bill Allen and E.C. Allen; three sisters: Ottice Hendry, Alice Polk, and Lessie White; great-grandson, Cole Rider. Survivors include: daughter, Virginia Bettge and husband Raymond, Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Donnie Rider and wife Janis of West Monroe; Tommy Rider and wife Barbara of Bossier City; two sisters: Audrey Comeaux, Winnsboro; Edna Simms, Calhoun; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Rider, David Rider, Greg Robbins, Ray Bettge, Tony White, and Mike Rider. Thornton Funeral services for Nevon E. Thornton, 77, of Liddieville were held Friday at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Woodson McGuffie officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Mrs. Thornton died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She was a resident of Benton, La., formerly of Liddieville, a homemaker and a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Thornton; and four brothers, J.C. Ellerbe, Claude Ellerbe, Vernon Ellerbe and Dean Ellerbe. Survivors inlcude her son, Jimmy Thornton and wife, Robin of Ashdown, Ark.; daughter, Kay Thornton Fowler and husband, Billy of Ashdown, Ark.; sister, Doris Nichols, Overton, Texas; three grandchildren, Adriane Boone, McComb; Jamie Ogden, Calhoun; Jeffrey Gregoire of Franklin Parish; three great-grandchildren, Lindsay Ogden, Kaylin Ogden, and Kade Boone; and a host of nieces and nephews. WILLIAM "RUSTY" WILSON Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home - Winnsboro, LA. Funeral services for Mr. William "Rusty" Wilson, 59,of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Greg Guillot officiating. Interment will follow at Myrtle Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro. Mr. Wilson died Sunday February 27, 2005 at Richland Par ish Hospital in Delhi. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a self employed businessman. Rusty loved the outdoors, and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was preceded in Death by: ParentsWilliam and Margaret Wilson, Grand daughter Jodi B. Tatum. Survivors include: wife: Jo Thomas Wilson of Winnsboro, LA; son: William Michael Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter: Wendy Wilson Poon of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: William Gavin Wilson, Victoria Poon, and Reagan Leigh Anne Ryals; stepdaughter: Jefferei Anne Ryals and husband Robert Lee of Delhi, LA; sister: Susan Wilson of Ferriday, LA. The Pallbearers will be Danny Jennings, Chad Cockerham, Doyle Brown, Mike Ferguson, John Laird, and Jay Thurston The family will receive friends at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2005.
