Brown Funeral services for Harold C. Brown, 78, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Fryer and the Rev. Tommy Basco officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home Winnsboro. Mr. Brown died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Franklin Medical Center. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a retired farmer and a member of the New Zion Baptist Church. Mr. Brown was also a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Brown; brother, Lee Roy Brown, and sister, Mattie Gill. Survivors include a daughter, Lawana Brown, Winnsboro; son, Larry Don Brown and wife, Debbie, Winnsboro; two sisters, Hilda Hodge, Winnsboro; Katheryn Canady, Crowville; four grandchildren: Jody Jones, Shelly Guillot, Cody Brown, Alarie Brown; three great-grandchildren: Claudia, Bryan, Alannah, and special friend, Betty Eldridge. Pallbearers were Eric Smith, William Neal, Bo Erskin, James Erskin, Kim Wilson, and David DeBlieux. Bobby Emsinger officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Mrs. Wilson died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Franklin Medical Center. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker and a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death of by her husband, Woodrow Wilson; and son-in-law, Joe Hardy Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Wilson Hardy; son, Kim Wilson and wife Marilyn, both of Winnsboro; five sisters, Ann Bryant and husband, Abner of Tyler, Texas; Violet Franco, Vicksburg, Miss.; Carrie Chevallier and husband, J. E.; Cecil Taylor and husband, Barney; Espie Lee Powell and husband, John, all of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, Joe Hardy Jr., Kathy Parkerson, Shannon Alvarez, Shane Hardy, Staci Wilson and Michael Wilson; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael C. Wilson, Allen Taylor, Mike Wilson, David Wilson, Mike Jennings, and Mark Ingram.
