She was born September 23, 1919, in Oak Ridge , LA where she spent her childhood. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, William Baker; her parents, Henrietta and Edward Bruff Folse; her brothers and sisters-in-law; Evelyn and Douglas Bowden Folse, Bruff and Marietta Folse; her sisters and brothers-in- law, Dorothy and Charles Heath,Sr, Winnifred and Charles Heath,Jr., and Margaret Folse Hauser. Elizabeth was the last of this Folse generation. Elizabeth is survived by 6 nieces and nephews, Paul Folse, Sandra Tumminello, Darrel Folse, Charles Heath, Dorothy Trethewy, and Mary Bruff Morrow; and her sisters-in-law and dear friends who lovingly served her, Lillian Baker, Ella Margaret Humble, Ed and Mary Lee and Buck Tumminello. Elizabeth graduated from LA Tech where she dated her husband, William, a student of architecture. After their marriage and William's service in the Navy in World War II, Elizabeth and William lived in the house William designed and built in Winnsboro , LA. Elizabeth served as librarian in the public library and in the Baker architectural firm. She had fond memories of working on the bookmobile because "people were just glad to have someone to talk to." She was a founding member of St. Columba's Episcopal Church where she was active in all phases of church life, especially altar guild. Elizabeth resided in Plantation Manor in Winnsboro until Sandra and her husband, Buck, moved her to Morningside of Virginia to be closer to them. Elizabeth will be remembered for her love of animals, insatiable appetite for knowledge, and concern for others. She was known as the rescuer of stray animals, once having a skunk and a robin she had rescued and tamed. Filled with curiosity , she always wanted to "look up" how everything was invented or discovered. She made daily trips to the nursing home to visit friends. Elizabeth 's family expresses gratitude to the wonderful people at Morningside and Bon Secours Hospice of VA who helped Elizabeth pass into the Lord's eternal victory with comfort and dignity. He was a resident of Wisner, an employee with Haring Farm Planting Partnership, a mechanic, and a member of the South Central Baptist Church. Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye (Moore) Campbell; father, William Joseph Campbell. He will not have to suffer anymore. He is in the arms of God and his mother for whom he has loned for a very long time. Larry was born January 5, 1953 and lived in Franklin Parish all of his life. He was a christian and a lifetime member of Lamar Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend. Larry never met a stranger and treated everyone with kindness. Larry graduated from Crowville High School and ULM. He worked as a Social Worker for the State of LA for over 23 years and several years for the Franklin Parish Sherriff's Office. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Arhwee and Audie Hammons; brothers-in-law, Frankie Loftin, Randy Griffing, Walt Davis, Pete Robertson, Carey Stevens and August Pekar; sister-in-law Marcia Hammons; niece Brandi Hammons Williams and great nephew Steven Doyle Hough. Larry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patsy of Delhi; son Benjamin Hammons of Delhi; daughter Sarah Hammons Barmore and husband Ben of Rayville; two precious granddaughters, Abigail Grace and Mary Elizabeth Barmore. Ben was born to Bernard Richard Williams, Sr. and Ruby Dean Ott Williams and reared in Osyka. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Dr. Kenneth Ott Williams. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Shanks Williams; son, Bernard Richard Williams, III and his wife, Rachel, and their daughters, Sydney Ellen and Caroline; daughter, Lou Ellen Williams; daughter, Kay W. Knight and her husband, Scott, and her daughter, Adrienne LaFrance; and sister-in-law, Dr. Nancy Burrow Williams. Major Williams retired from the USAF as a pilot with 27 years of service in World War II, Korean Conflict, Cold War, and Vietnam Conflict. After retirement he collaborated with Paul Ott to produce and write television spots for the Mississippi Game and Fish Commission. Ben graduated from Osyka High School in 1940. Later he attended his beloved Louisiana State University and graduated as a distinguished military graduate, attaining his BS and MS degrees in Horticulture. He was on the staff at LSU as an AFROTC instructor and later as a researcher in the Horticulture Department. He served 25 years as a trustee on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, the longest serving trustee. He was a Mason and a member of Osyka Baptist Church. A service of celebration of his life was held on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Osyka Baptist Church with visitation from 2-6 p.m. and services at 6 p.m. and burial in the Osyka Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb. Services were conducted by Dr. Milton Kliesch, pastor of Osyka Baptist.
