Earl Lee Augurson
 
Funeral services for Earl Lee Augurson, 83, of New Orleans, formerly 
of Wisner, were held Monday at Holly Grove Baptist near Wisner with 
the Rev. Nolan Mock officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Richardson 
and Simms Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Augurson died Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at Meadow Crest Hospital 
in New Orleans following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include seven daughters, Natie Lee Smith, Ruth Grey, Annie 
Bell Martin, Elnorah Miller, Juanita Bouie all of New Orleans; Jo Ann McIntosh 
of Macon, Mississippi; Estelle Shaw of Monroe; 26 grandchildren and 
22 great-grandchildren.Grandsons served as pallbearers.
