John R. Barefield
 
Private services for John R. Barefield, 66, of Easley, S.C. were held Sunday 
at Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Memorial services will be at a later date.
 
Mr. Barefield died Saturday, April 22, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center after 
a brief illness.  He was a native of Louisiana, resident of Easley, South Carolina, 
retail salesman and served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
 
Survivors include his wife Judy A. Barefield; children, Jeffery Keith Barefield, 
Jennifer Lea Barefield and Kimberly Jo Barefield; sisters, Lillian Hall and 
Connie Franklin; and five grandchildren.
