Berry Funeral Services for William L. Berry, 79, of Crowville were held Tuesday, October 17, at First Baptist Church in Crowville with the Rev. Carl Gulde officiating. Interment followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Berry was born December 27, 1920 in Bradley, Arkansas and died Monday, October 16, 2000 in Delhi. He was a long time resident of Franklin Parish, a farmer and a former owner of Berry's Texaco in Crowville. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Berry of Crowville; daughter, Vickie Phillips and husband Keith of Baskin; grandchildren, Kyle and Logan Phillips; sisters, Thelma Williams of Haughton; Velma McClosky of Red Lick, Texas; Earline Manning and Tommie Finley both of Hooks, Texas and brother, Earl "Red" Berry of Minden. Pallbearers were Billy Joe Chapman, Gary Chapman, Larry Holley, Keith Phillips, Barry Parker and Tony Amos.
