Betty Swanson and the Rev. L.R. Bevill officiating. Interment followed in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Bevill died Monday, February 28, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center. Mrs. Bevill was a member of Mangham United Methodist Church and a member of the Mangham Eastern Star Chapter # 152 and the Methodist Womens Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. W.W. Bevill. Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Guidry of Grand Isle; Nadine Johnson of Crystal Springs, Mississippi; three sons, L.R. Bevill of Wisner; Elliott Bevill of Tocamo, Washington; and Thomas Bevill of Crystal Springs, Mississippi; three sisters, Aubry Alexander of Wiggins, Mississippi; Audry Wagner of Memphis, Tennessee; Kate Berry of Winnie, Texas; four brothers, T.I. Brooks an Harold Brooks both of Camilla, Georgia; Bert Brooks of Laurel, Mississippi; Newt Brooks of Wiggins, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gary Williams, Gerry Marchbank, Harris Jones, Joe Chapman, Robert "Bubba" Bell and Tim Fife.
