Brazell Funeral services for E.J. Brazell, 75, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday at Riser First National Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. John Williams, the Rev. Will Roger Young and the Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Brazell was born October 17, 1925 in Delhi, and passed from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2000. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Winnsboro, a WW II Army Veteran, owned and operated Gulf Service Station in Crowville. Mr. Brazell was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Brazell. Survivors include three children, Peggy Cassels and Janice Browder both of Winnsboroo; Tommy Brazell of Baton Rouge; sisters Mary Jean Fitchner of Austin, Texas; Ruby Hughes of Vidalia; brother, Vernon Brazell of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronnie Childress, Glen Childress, Gordon Hughes, Steve Pylant, Fahy Hodge and Clarence Sikes.
