Sadie H. Brown

Funeral services for Sadie H. Brown, 52, of Crowville were held Monday at
the Chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyde
Hawthorne and the Rev. James McMurray officiating. 
Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Brown died Friday, December 31, 1999 at Citizens Medical Center of
Columbia after a sudden illness.  she was a native and resident of Franklin
Parish, a homemaker and attended the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include the father of her children, William Francis Brown of
Crowville; mother Lucille Hendry of Crowville; children, George Brown of
Gilbert; Raymond Brown of Bentonville, Arkansas; Pamela Temple of
Crowville; and William Ray Brown of Winnsboro; sister, Dottie Love of Baton
Rouge; brothers, Clyde "Bud" Hendry Jr. of Marion; Jerry Hendry of
Winnsboro;  J.W. Hendry and Terry Hendry both of Crowville; Three
grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brian Goodman, Lee Hendry, Danny Hendry, Ralph Hendry,
Josh Martin and J.W. Hendry, Jr..
Honorary pallbearer was Charles Elkin.
