K.C. Brown
 
Funeral services for K.C. Brown, 72, of Wisner were held Saturday at 
South Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Eubanks and the Rev. 
Neal Raborn officiating.
 
Interment followed at Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of 
Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Mr. Brown died Thursday, August 3, 2000 at his residence after a 
sudden illness.  He was a resident and native of Franklin Parish, 
served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Baptist faith and 
the Catfish Farmers Association.
 
Survivors include his wife Zella B. Brown of Wisner; children, Steve 
Brown and Maurice Brown both of Wisner; Carolyn B. Fuller of Eros; 
sister, Inita Segura of New Iberia; four grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Kevin Cobb, Michael Ferrington, Duce Madden, 
Johnny Ray Juneau, Sam Haring and Jimmy Belgarde.
 
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Gene Gore, Pete Haring, Smily Ogden,
Ronnie Graham, Larry Rogers, Mickey Ferrington, Barney Delaughter, 
Ben King, Morris Wilson, Donnie Perry, Charlie McMahon, Sonny 
Kenney, Mike Evans, Larry Roberts and Bobby Posey.
