Frankie H. Bryan
 
Funeral services for Frankie H. Bryan, 76, of Baskin were held Sunday, 
August 27, at Community Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jim Taylor and the 
Rev. Floyde Hawthorne officiating.
Interment followed at Coax Cemetery under the direction of Community 
Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Bryan died Friday, August 25, 2000, at Franklin Medical Center after 
an extended illness.  She was a resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker 
and a member of First Baptist Church of Baskin.  She was preceded in 
death by two sons, Billy Joe Bryan and Sherry Elton Bryan.
Survivors include her husband, Elton Bryan of Baskin;  children, Faye Valentine 
of Winnsboro; Mark Bryan of Baskin;  brothers, John Heath of Laurel, Mississippi; 
Alpha J. "Rib" Heath of DeRidder; Jack Heath of Winnsboro; Sam Heath of Napels, 
Florida; sisters, Agnes Schackley of San Antonio, Texas;  Jill Eskew, of Scotia, 
Canada; Geneva Hawthorne and Janie Welch both of Winnsboro; Harvey Belle 
Robertson of Columbus, Mississippi; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 
and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Justin Nelson, Walter Hemphill, Sam Powers, Buddy Townsend, 
Murle Welch and Nolan Hawthorne.
