Ruby Burkhalter

Funeral services for Ruby Burkhalter, 47, of Winnsboro were held Tuesday
at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Harris officiating.
Interment followed at Gethsemane Memorial Garden under the direction of
Richardson Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Burkhalter died Friday, December 10, 1999 at North Monroe Hospital in
Monroe following a brief illness. She was a nurse.
Survivors include a daughter, Charity Hezekiah; sons Myrick White and
Russell white, both of Winnsboro, Dexter Burkhalter, Columbus, Ohio;
sisters Fannie Bell, Henrietta Nelson, Beverly Henderson. Daisy Norman,
Barbara Richardson, Dorothy Jones, Vanessa Burkhalter, Erniece Burkhalter,
Verlen Watson, all of Winnsboro; brothers, Charles Hooker, Delmos Brown,
Sam Brown, Larry Brown Booker T. Burkhalter Jr., Sam Burkhalter;
grandmother, Ophelia Spears and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ira Bell, James Bell, Dennis Fontenot, Lavaska Hicks,
Isaiah Nelson and Bennie Spears.
