Funeral services for Linda Burton, 52, of Wisner were held Saturday at Locust
Hill Baptist Church in Fort Necessity with the Rev. George Lavender officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction  of Richardson and 
Sims Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Burton died Tuesday, May 9, 2000 at Franklin Medical Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Miles of Winnsboro; Dorothy Johnson of 
Layfette, her mother, Betty Swayzer of Wisner; five sisters Grace Tollivar, Marie 
Swayzer and Betty Williams all of Wisner; Ella Ross of Winnsboro and Mave 
Pearl Bums of Monroe; two brothers, Tommy Swayzer of Monroe; Surrah Swayzer
of Wisner and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dave Tolliver, Walter Tolliver, Edward Tolliver, Lester Tolliver, 
Henry Tolliver,  Herman Tolliver and Herman Lumpkin.
