Funeral services for Mrs. Nola V. Busby, 89, were held Saturday, January 8, 2010 at the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dowden and Rev. James Busby officiating. Interment followed at Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Busby was born on October 5, 1921 in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Charlyn Nursing Center. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church Crowville and the Eastern Star. She is precede in death by her parents James Otis and Alma Marshall Richardson; husband, Vester Busby; a daughter Barbara Ann Busby; two great- grandsons. She was the last survivor of six children. Survivors includeher children; Jean Monroe and husband charles; Judy Fitzgerald, Ronnie Busby and wife Linda, Connie Riggan, james Busby and wife Patty all of Crowville; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
