Calvitt - Wisner - Archie Clyde Calvitt,71, died at 9:10 a.m. Monday at Jefferson DAvis memorial Hospital in Natchez, Miss., after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the chapel of First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro with the Rev. Sam Aucoin officiating, Burial will follow at the Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert. Mr. Calvitt was a native of Wisner and a Retired Farmer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Leslie Messenger Calvitt of Wisner, two sons, Neal Calvitt and Marvin Calvitt, both of Vidalia; six daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Stephen and Mrs. Marvine Braswell, both of Wisner, Mrs. Vera Graves of Sicily Island, Mrs. Jo Ann Carney and Mrs. Edna Eggolff, both of Vidalia, and Mrs. Lorraine Sayfarth of Vicksburg; three brothers, Milton Calvitt, Chandler Calvitt, and Jewel Wesley, all of Gilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Johns of Wisner and Nezzie Eaton of Rinco, N.M.; 18 grandchildren and two great - grand- children.
