Mary Ida Ernest
 
Funeral services for Mary Ida Ernest, 63, of Stockton, California, 
were held Friday at Greater Faith Baptist Church in Stockton.

Interment followed in Stockton Rural Cemetery under the direction of Thompson 
Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Ernest died Friday, May 5, 2000 at her residence.  She was a native of 
Winnsboro and had resided in Stockton for 20 years.  She was a skill coach/career 
development program; she was a member and deaconess of Greater Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lannie Ernest Sr. of Stockton, Cali; daughters, Natasha R. 
Allen, LaShann M. Ernest and Sharon F. Hall all of Stockton; sons, Gregory M. Meadows, 
Darryl L. Meadows, Edrick D. Meadows all of Stockton; sisters, Ollie M. McDonald of 
San Francisco; Paretha McGriger of Stockton; Amy Tooks of Chicago,Illinois; father, 
Eleazar Neal of San Francisco; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
