Ezell Funeral services for Herman L. Ezell, 83, of Vidalia were held Sunday at Young's Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Gary Howington, the Rev. George Murray and the Rev. Albert Nugent officiating. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, Mississippi. Mr. Ezell died Friday, May 19, 2000 in Vidalia. He was a member of Vidalia Apostolic Life Pentecostal Church, Quarter Century Club with International Paper Company and served in U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Ezell was preceded in death by his parents, Horance and Sinnie Ezell; three brothers, Johnny Ezell, Edgar Ezell and J.L. Ezell. Survivors include his wife, Marie Ezell of Vidalia; three daughters, Shirley Frazier of Lake St. John; Jean Smith of Lake Concordia; Irene Willingham of Brinkley, Arkansas; sisters, Lula Mae Meyers of Monroe; Lena Ray Harmon of Vidalia; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were J.E. Harmon, James Horace Meyers, Stanley Murray, Wayne Murray, Calvin Murray and Harold Murray. Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Whittington, Donald Whittington, Charles Preston Adams, Perry V. Willingham and Lloyde Smith.
